Moderation Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This page explains how reporting and moderation work on FPVBase.

Automated checks (before publication)

Every uploaded image is automatically screened for inappropriate content before it's published. Titles, descriptions, print notes, tags, and comments are checked against a list of disallowed words before they're accepted. These checks happen instantly and block publication outright if triggered — no human review is involved at this stage. If you believe legitimate content was blocked in error, contact contact@fpv-base.com.

Reporting content

Any logged-in user can report a model or a comment using the Report button, selecting one or more reasons (off-topic, inappropriate content, spam, harassment, copyright infringement, or other) and optional details. Reports are private — visible only to you and to moderators, never publicly. You can cancel your own report at any time before it's reviewed.

How reports are reviewed

Moderators review reports through a private queue. For each report, a moderator can:

  • Dismiss it — no violation found, the report is closed and the content stays as-is.
  • Remove the content — the model is taken down (its files remain safely stored, but it's no longer visible or discoverable) or the comment is permanently deleted.

Account restrictions

Independently of a specific report, a moderator may restrict an account from publishing new models and posting comments — either temporarily (for a set number of days) or permanently. A restricted account can still log in, browse, and download; only publishing and commenting are blocked. Restrictions are always tied to a recorded reason and can be lifted by a moderator at any time.

Who moderates

FPVBase is currently moderated by its publisher. As the platform grows, this may expand to additional trusted community moderators, who would be bound by the same rules described here.
