Appeals & Takedown Procedure

Last updated: August 2026

This page covers two different situations: contesting a moderation decision made about your account or content, and requesting the removal of content that infringes your rights (e.g., copyright).

Appealing a moderation decision

If your content was removed, or your account was restricted or banned, and you believe this was a mistake, contact contact@fpv-base.com with:

  • Your username
  • What was removed or restricted, and when (if known)
  • Why you believe the decision was incorrect

Appeals are reviewed by a moderator. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe. A decision may be reversed, upheld, or adjusted based on this review — we'll let you know either way.

Requesting removal of infringing content

If content published on FPVBase infringes your copyright, patent, trademark, or other rights, you can request its removal. Contact contact@fpv-base.com with:

  • A description of the work you believe is infringed, and evidence of your rights over it
  • A link to the specific content on FPVBase you're reporting
  • Your contact information
  • A statement that you believe, in good faith, that the use is not authorized by you, the rights holder, or the law

We will review the request and, where warranted, remove the content. We may also reach out to the person who published it for more context before taking action. Knowingly submitting a false or bad-faith claim may result in the claim being disregarded.

Both paths

Either process can also be started by simply using the Report button on the content itself (see our Moderation Policy) — this contact-based process is for follow-up, appeals, or cases needing more detail than the report form allows.
